🎉 9th & 10th Grade Rube Goldberg Day: A Semester of Creativity in Action! 🛠️🤩
Today marked the culmination of a semester of hard work, dedication, and innovation for our 9th and 10th graders as they unveiled their Rube Goldberg machines! 💡 These intricate contraptions, designed to accomplish simple tasks like blowing bubbles, pouring cereal, or sharpening a pencil, showcased the incredible creativity and problem-solving skills of each student team.
📚 What They Learned Throughout the Semester:
--Engineering Design Process: From brainstorming ideas to finalizing blueprints, students followed the steps of real-world problem solvers.
--Trial and Error: Weeks of testing, tweaking, and rebuilding taught resilience and perseverance.
--Collaboration: Every team member played a vital role, proving that success comes from strong communication and teamwork.
🔥 Seeing their projects come to life today was nothing short of inspiring. Each group proudly demonstrated their machines, celebrating the victories and lessons learned along the way. But the journey isn’t over yet! The next step is presentation. Students will prepare to explain their design processes, challenges, and triumphs to an audience, further sharpening their communication and critical-thinking skills.
👏 A big thank you to the staff, families, and community members who guided and supported our students throughout this journey. This semester-long project wouldn’t have been possible without you!
