Weekly Announcements 04.14 - 04.18
Field Days are happening this week. K-2 on Monday morning and 3rd-5th is Monday afternoon. 6th, 7th, and 8th grade will be on Tuesday morning. Please remember to wait for your scholar outside. If you opt to check them out, do so with their teacher. Also, remember we will have a food truck as an option to purchase lunch. Please reach out to your scholar's teacher for exact rotation and lunch times. Remember tennis shoes, maybe a hat, and sunscreen. We are looking forward to two sunny and fun-filled Field Days.
Spring Break begins on Friday, April 18th. There will be no school this Friday through the following week. Scholars return to school on Monday, April 28th.
That being said, even with Field Days, we still have teaching and learning happening this week. We expect students and staff to finish the week strong, staying focused and ready to learn. We'll work hard this week and rest and reset during Spring Break.
Soccer is Home on Monday and Wednesday of this week. Baseball and Softball is away on Monday at West Edgecombe Middle and home on Thursday, April 17th.
We do wish everyone a happy, restful and safe Spring Break. Thank you!

Bus 388 is running approximately 20 minutes behind schedule. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you for understanding!

Field Days are next week! Check out all the information you need to know below:
If you plan to join your scholar for Field Day, please plan to meet them and their class outside. To limit office traffic and the number of people inside the building, we are not requiring you to sign in or enter the main building. Please communicate with your child's teacher about their rotation schedule so that you know where to meet up.
If you plan to check your child out after the Field Day activities, you will do that with your child's teacher. They will have a sign-out sheet available. Again, we are limiting the number of people in and out of the office and main building. Once a scholar leaves campus, they are gone for the day. Scholars cannot leave for lunch and return; you may bring lunch to them, but they cannot sign out and then sign back in.
Please reach out to your child's teacher for exact lunch times so that you can plan accordingly.
There will be a hot dog and hamburger food truck on campus for Field Day. We know that many families opt to buy lunch off campus on Field Day, and we wanted to give you an on-campus option. The food truck is optional, but it is reasonable and they accept a variety of payment options.
- K - K-2nd Field Day is Monday, April 14th from 9:00 AM - 11:45 AM.
- 3rd - 5th Field Say is Monday, April 14th from 12:30 PM - 2:55 PM.
- 6th - 8th Field Day is Tuesday, April 15th from 9:00 AM - 12:05 PM
Please remind your scholar to wear closed-toe/athletic shoes and consider applying sunscreen before school (we cannot apply sunscreen for scholars).
We are looking forward to a fun-filled Field Day!

BUS 332 RIDERS: We are sorry for the inconvenience but we do not have a bus driver for Bus 332 this afternoon. Please arrange transportation for your student this afternoon if they ride Bus 332. Thank you!
